Dorothy Clear from Clear Organization was the speaker at an event I attended. I was enlightened to the fact that cluttering has many different psychological reasons and for most is an overwhelming situation that causes shame and stress. Dorothy walked us through her procedure ranging from severe cases to organizing after loosing a loved one, to changing habits and in some cases follow up. What I thought was a simple get a dumpster fix, was much more involved and like any bad habit needs addressed at it's core.
